To regulate glucose supply (diabetes mellitus). Kattovit Feline Diet – DIABETES was specially developed with long-chain carbohydrates for regulated glucose release. A high crude fiber content (roughage) in conjunction with reduced fat levels can have a balancing effect on the development of blood sugar levels impact. The food has been enriched with L-carnitine. L-carnitine can support the breakdown of fat reserves. Not suitable for adolescent and pregnant cats. Low mono and disaccharide content.

To support kidney function in chronic kidney failure and to reduce oxalone formation. Kattovit Feline Diet – KIDNEY/Renal has been specially developed to provide cats with a reduced protein content through the use of high quality protein in an easily digestible composition. High protein levels can have a damaging effect on the kidneys. The decisive factor is the protein content in relation to the amount of energy. With Kattovit KIERE/Renal, in contrast to conventional food, only around half of the energy comes from protein. The enrichment with potassium citrate has a urinary alkalinizing effect and can therefore prevent the formation of oxalate crystals (oxalate prophylaxis). The phosphorus content is reduced.

To reduce struvite stone recurrences (re-occurrence of struvite stones). URINARY was developed according to the latest scientific findings. To prevent the struvite stones that often occur in FLUTD (= Feline lower urinary tract disease), the composition of the food was developed in such a way that the pH value of the cat’s urine is clearly in the low range at 6.4. URINARY contains DL-methionine and calcium sulfate as urinary acidifying substances and has a low magnesium content. High digestibility and high energy density are also important for prevention.
